In 2017, a $25,000 grant from the Franciscan Mission Association helped support the formation program of the Franciscan Friars Conventual in Uganda. From promotion and advertising to hosting “come and see” weekends for prospective postulatants, to receiving novices and solemenly professed friars, through priestly ordination for some, the process of education and formation into Franciscan religious life is challenging. With the financial support of the Franciscan Mission Association, educating the 16 young men who are in the formation program this year has been made a little easier. With your prayers and generous donations, we will continue to help the Franciscans in Uganda strengthen the Order and strengthen the Church.
